Grumble - Demo-Spring 2023
Released: April 17, 2023
Label: Self-Released

With roots in folk punk and the spirit of the East Bay, Grumble, from Asheville (now residing in Philly), are not writing your average punk songs. Clever chord exchanges lend themselves to emotionally charged vocals which require no gang backing, but sound really lovely when there is one. At times familiar but impossible to nail down to a specific band, this demo is for fans of orgcore who are looking to spice up their catalog with authentic grit.

Faulty Cognitions - Demo
Released: April 21, 2023
Label: Self-Released

This demo feels so real and raw in a cesspool of outdated punk catered to a bored, aging audience. A not so delicate mix of garage punk, orgcore, with a touch of love-struck Cobain-esque grunge -- this is not to say this is haphazardly arranged! This Texas band is tight and they're playing it loose. Feels like a Mutant Pop classic lost to time, an uncovered treasure that's more cursed monkey paw than gold.

Barnacle - old songs
Released: April 20, 2023
Label: Self-Released

From the depths of the salty Atlantic, a sealed container was uncovered containing the lost tapes of Montreal's Barnacle, a delightful blend of surf & punk, post- all the waves. This one is for the beach freaks, the shoobies, the circle of sea witches gathered 'round a bonfire under the new moon. Clever arrangements built from familiar runs forged in the foundation of surf punk meld with the hammering, unrelenting bass lines which allow for such a lightness of foot that you'll find your dancing has lifted you straight off the ground. Really fun, at times spooky, and infectiously groovy.

teo Wise - LESS GO!
Released: April 20, 2023
Label: RIP Records

Italo-punks, Teo Wise, by way of Cologne, have unleashed a synth-punk mega-monster on our somber shores. These songs are quick, punchy, aloof, feature alternating guitar and synth solos, while the vocals are truly a surprise and treat with every track -- . Unpredictable, effortlessly cool, referential without playing into tropes, this record is fearlessly focused on fun.
